About Us

MISSION

Children's Health Guild is a group of volunteers dedicated to raising funds for George Mark Children's House (GMCH) and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland (UBCHO). Comprised of approximately fifty women around the Lamorinda Area, our members dedicate their time and talents in order to help our beneficiaries provide the full circle of medical care for their patients including emergency care, on-going treatment, transitional and respite care, and palliative care.

IMPACT

Originally founded as St. Luke’s Junior Auxiliary based in San Francisco, our organization has raised funds for over 40 years to support low-income women and children’s medical care.  As our membership has migrated to the East Bay in recent years, our organization was relaunched in 2012 as the Children’s Health Guild and is now an independent 501(c)(3), non-profit organization that provides financial support to both UBCHO and GMCH. To date, CHG has raised 2,000,000 dollars for our two  beneficiaries.
